I chose to start a walking since the weather has been so wonderful this July. My sister has an IPOD that she swears by and my mom has her own small MP3 player. Researching though, they seemed complicated until a cousin of mine bought a $20 “jump drive” style player from Walgreens. I chose that’s what I wanted. Something simple. I went to target and found THIS ONE. For the price and the storage compacity and the fact that it’s small, and cute-as compared to the other MP3 players sitting there, this one seemed the best. ESPECIALLY because it has built in FM radio. It was cheaper than the ones w/ comparable storage, comparable hook-up but no FM radio.
So heres the thing. I was soooo PROUD AND PLEASED w/ my small player! I showed it to my mom. The upload of music for my small device is simpler than hers. I just hook it up to the computer and click on My Music, choose a song and ’send’ it to the portable device.
So it’s so user FRIENDLY that my mom went from WANTING ONE, to BORROWING MINE, to OWNING MINE. SHE WON’T GIVE IT BACK!! Gotta like her, but now I’m back at square one -with no MP3 player. Oh yeah, we can share and I can question for it back, but how convenient is that? UGH. frustrating.
And I’m so partial to mine that I can’t just go out and buy any ol’ MP3 player w/ a jump drive. AND, the last time I went to Target the price on this particular had risen a excellent $10.
I guess this is more a rant than a review…just know this. It’s gotta be pretty dern cool if a parent would take it from their child and make it their own. I used it to listen to MY music, that she otherwise couldn’t stand to hear around the house. NOW SHE LIKES MY MUSIC. AND HAS CONFISCATED MY PLAYER.
I’m just s.o.l. So I’m lookin for a excellent deal. I’m in the market to replace what was taken from me. At a similar price as before of course.

I bought this as a workout mp3 player and it’s really been fantastic! Here’s my review on it..
PROS:
-internal USB plug – just slide the control on the side and it pops out
-brilliant battery life
-fantastic sound (I use my ipod earphones though)
-size is perfect for clipping onto workout clothes
-plug into your pc and simply click and drag songs to it – NO iTUNES! nothing to install
-charges easily when plugged into your pc
-you can listen while it’s charging
CONS:
-Organizing songs is a bit confusing
-USB plug is a small flimsy but ease of use overrides this (no cords to keep up with)
